Originally a native of Cleveland, Ohio, This Austin Texas based producer/composer/songwriter is no stranger to the business. Darn-L has been involved with recording since the early 90's when he released his first self produced recording with his former Pop/Dance group T.O.U.  under Oaklawn Records (OLR141). He has since worked with many Artists from various developmental stages and genres ranging from Hip Hop, to R&B and Dance. He has been involved with various artist development projects, and remix, and mixing projects, and has honed his skills as a producer / arranger in the process. His influences range from Jazz greats like Bob James and Herbie Hancock, to R&B notables such as Barry White, James Brown, the Isley's and more. He credits his production influences to greats like Quincy Jones, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Babyface, Teddy Riley and more.
